Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li is an upcoming film and the second live-action film based on the Street Fighter series of video games. It follows the quest of Street Fighter character Chun-Li, who will be portrayed by Smallville star Kristin Kreuk.

The story follows Chun Li’s personal history and her journey for justice. The film co-stars Neal McDonough as M. Bison, Chris Klein as Charlie, Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog, and Black Eyed Peas singer Taboo as Vega. Read more

The Spirit is a 2008 American avant-garde film noir, written and directed by Frank Miller and starring Gabriel Macht, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes. The film is based on the newspaper comic strip The Spirit by Will Eisner. Batfilm, OddLot, and Lionsgate produced the film. In Central City, the detective known as the Spirit must stop the criminal known as the Octopus from retrieving a mysterious treasure chest from Central City’s Mud Flats containing the blood of Heracles, which would give him unlimited power and immortality. After a battle with the Octopus, the Spirit stumbles upon a locket in Mud Flats, parting the veil of memory to remember Sand Saref, the girl he loved when they were teenagers growing up in the slums of Central City. Make It Happen Movie

Make it Happen is a 2008 dance film directed by Darren Grant and starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The screenplay was co-written by Duane Adler, who was a screenwriter for Save the Last Dance and Step Up, films that also involved dancing. The movie opens in Indiana, where Lauryn Kirk (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) says goodbye to her brother, Joel (John Reardon) before departing for Chicago to audition for a famous dance school, the fictional Chicago School of Music and Dance.

Although Joel – who works as a mechanic in the family garage – is wary of Lauryn’s decision to enroll, he eventually gives her his blessing. When Lauryn enters the stage, however, her dance (mostly a hip hop routine) was halted by the judge, who hostilely rejects her, saying that they need to see something more “sensual and feminine”. Coraline is an animated stop-motion horror fantasy film based on Neil Gaiman’s novella of the same name. Directed by Henry Selick, it is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 6, 2009. It is rated PG for thematic elements, scary images, some language, and suggestive humor.

Plot of Coraline Movie

The film is about a young girl, Coraline (Dakota Fanning), who unlocks a mysterious door in her new home and enters into a parallel reality, a fantastical and thrilling imitation of her own dull life. In this world, Coraline finds a new version of her real mother (Teri Hatcher) and father (John Hodgman), her off-kilter neighbors, Miss Forcible (Jennifer Saunders), Miss Spink (Dawn French) and Mr Bobinski (Ian MacShane), and the Cat (Keith David). However, this other world soon begins to unravel and she becomes a prisoner to her Other Mother and must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home.
